Well, I figured I should probably go ahead and introduce myself, so...here goes. Hello. Welcome to my blog. You may call me Shura. I'm a Georgia college girl trying to figure out my place in life and supporting my loved ones on their journeys. Though I go by many names and aliases, I always seem to come back to two--which my username is comprised of. "Tenshi" is Japanese for angel, so translated, my username means "Angel Shura." Throughout high school and many fanfic profiles, I have been called both Shura and Takai no Tenshi. While Shura, to my knowledge, has no special meaning in Japanese, the Takai no Tenshi means "Angel of Death." These two personas are some times, I feel, the most accurate to describe me, and I felt for my own blog, I should combine the two. But, why the "Angel of Death" may you ask? I'm glad you did. In high school, I was (and still am) very close to two friends, whose nicknames were Shishigami ("God of Death and Life") and Shinigami ("God of Death"). As a joke, we had a so-called "company" called Shishigami and Shinigami Incorporated, where death is our business! I jokingly became their secretary, and I wanted a nickname for myself that fit with the current theme. The "Angel of Death" finally came to me when, as a joke, another friend called me the Angel of Death. The rest, as they say, is history. So, what is an Angel of Death/Pirate hybrid like? I shall caution you though that some times, I do have a tendency to use vulgar language, and some of my posts can be very depressing. Also, I do have a couple of rules... Shura's Rules 1) In order for us to be friends, we have to at least have THREE common interests (again, check my profile). 2) Comment please on occasion. I like to hear from my friends, and I will try and comment on yours as often as I can. ^_^ 3) No fighting with my other friends. Everyone has different opinions, and that's great. So, respect them if they are different from yours and respect the person too. If you do have an issue with another friend of mine, either please message me personally, message my friend in private, or keep it to yourself please. Thank you!
